St Patricks Day

On Friday PJ's PreSchool was having a Party to celebrate St. Patrick's Day. I told her she needed to wear green for the her St Patrick's Day Party. I could tell she had no clue what St Patricks Day was. She asked me if Patrick and Sponge Bob were going to be at the party. I told her nope it is an Irish holiday with four leaf clovers and leprechauns. After her party at school I brought her downtown to watch the Hough Parade. My mom and my sister Court joined us. She had a blast. The people in the parade were handing out great gifts. PJ was thrilled. She got a pencil, balloon, teddy bear, book, toy airplane and candy. Hopefully next year she will have a better idea of what St Patrick's Day is.
